Artist Book

Paper, Piccolo Original Little Prince Cover

In this piece the artist removed the original contents of the famous book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, The Little Prince and replaced it with precisely the same number of pages on the same paper the publisher had originally used, except that the pages of the altered book were all blank. The only text that was left was a short passage on page 75, exactly where it appeared in the original. This piece is the last in the series of Your Horizons which speaks of absence, loss and nostlagia.

'For me, the possibility and promise of the absent is at times more potent than what's actually present. The beauty and simplicity of emptiness is its infinite possibility - that is where all the magic occurs.' - Gleizer
