Inspired by T. S. Eliots famous long-poem, "The Wasteland," Gleizer's series of illustrations provide a visual shadow of the poet's greatest work. Gleizer frequently works with poetry (both her own and others'). "The power of poetry is that it evokes a raw and immediate image. Capturing that image as it comes is the challenge for me in this, and other works. It's also incredibly fun."
