Illustrated Edition of In the Library of Lost Object by Noel Duffy

Mixed Media on paper.

Noel Duffy studied Experimental Physics at Trinity College, Dublin, before turning his hand to writing. He co-edited Watching the River Flow: A Century in Irish Poetry (Poetry Ireland, 1999) and was the winner in 2003 of the START Chapbook Prize for Poetry for his collection, The Silence After. His work has appeared widely in Ireland, as well as in the UK, the US, Belgium and South Africa.

To create this work, the artist met with Duffy in person to talk about poetry, his relation to his homeland and the creation process in order to create a series of visual works inspired by this interaction and the poetry itself.
